Oasis Class
The Oasis class has the largest ships in the fleet. Oasis class ships have 2867 passenger rooms. These ships were all built between 2010 and 2022.
Wonder Of The Seas – 2022
This is the newest ship and the biggest. It has a maximum capacity of 5734 guests and 2300 crew members. The ship is 1188 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 236,857.
Symphony Of The Seas – 2018
This ship has a maximum capacity of 5518 guests and 2200 crew members. The ship is 1188 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 228,081.
Harmony Of The Seas – 2016
This ship has a maximum capacity of 5497 guests and 2200 crew members. The ship is 1188 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 226,963. This ship underwent some minor refurbishment in 2021.
Oasis Of The Seas – 2009
This ship has a maximum capacity of 5602 guests and 2109 crew members. The ship is 1187 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 226,838. This ship was refurbished in 2019, 10 years after it was initially built.
Allure Of The Seas – 2010
This ship has a maximum capacity of 5484 guests and 2200 crew members. The ship is 1187 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 225,282. It was refurbished in 2015, only 5 years after it was built.
Quantum Class
The second largest ships of the Royal Caribbean fleet are in the Quantum class. Quantum class ships have 2137 passenger rooms. These ships were all built between 2014 and 2021.
Spectrum Of The Seas – 2019
This ship has a maximum capacity of 4246 guests and 1551 crew members. The ship is 1139 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 169,379.
Quantum Of The Seas – 2014
This ship has a maximum capacity of 4180 guests and 1500 crew members. The ship is 1141 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 168,666. This ship is due for some refurbishment but it has not yet been scheduled.
Ovation Of The Seas – 2016
This ship has a maximum capacity of 4180 guests and 1500 crew members. The ship is 1138 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 168,666. It received a recent refurbishment in 2021.
Anthem Of The Seas – 2015
This ship has a maximum capacity of 4180 guests and 1500 crew members. The ship is 1141 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 168,666. This ship was due to receive some updates in 2020 but the refurbishment was canceled.
Odyssey Of The Seas – 2021
This ship has a maximum capacity of 4198 guests and 1633 crew members. The ship is 1138 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 167,704.
Freedom Class
The Freedom Class includes the medium sized ship in the Royal Caribbean fleet. They are still very large by cruise ship standards and have 1964 guest rooms. These ships were built in a 2 year period between 2006 and 2008.
Freedom Of The Seas – 2006
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3926 guests and 1365 crew members. The ship is 1111 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 156,271. It was refurbished in 2015.
Independence Of The Seas – 2008
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3858 guests and 1440 crew members. The ship is 1112 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 154,407. This ship was last refurbished in 2018, 10 years after it was first built.
Liberty Of The Seas – 2007
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3798 guests and 1360 crew members. The ship is 1112 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 154,407. It was refurbished in 2011, only 4 years after it was first built.
Voyager Class
The Voyager Class ships are smaller than the Freedom Class ships but they are still considered mid-size. These ships have 1715 guest rooms. All of these ships were built in a 4 year period between 1999 and 2003.
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3388 guests and 1230 crew members. The ship is 1020 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 139,999. This ship was refurbished in 2019.
Mariner Of The Seas – 2003
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3344 guests and 1200 crew members. The ship is 1020 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 139,863. It went through a fairly recent refurbishment in 2018.
Explorer Of The Seas – 2000
This ship was refurbished in 2015 including installation of the FlowRider surf simulator. It has a maximum capacity of 3286 guests and 1185 crew members. The ship is 1020 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 137,308.
Adventure Of The Seas – 2001
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3114 guests and 1185 crew members. The ship is 1020 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 137,276. In 2016 this ship went through refurbishment.
Voyager Of The Seas – 1999v
This ship has a maximum capacity of 3602 guests and 1200 crew members. The ship is 1020 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 137,276. It was refurbished in 2019, 20 years after it was first built.
Radiance Class
The ships in the radiance class are in the small cruise ship category, but still large enough to cruise the oceans. There are 1097 guest rooms on the ships in this class. The Radiance Class ships were built between 2001 and 2004.
Brilliance Of The Seas – 2002
This ship was refurbished in 2013. It has a maximum capacity of 2142 guests and 848 crew members. The ship is 962 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 90,090.
Jewel Of The Seas – 2004
This ship has a maximum capacity of 2191 guests and 852 crew members. The ship is 962 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 90,090. It was refurbished in 2017.
Radiance Of The Seas – 2001
This ship has a maximum capacity of 2143 guests and 894 crew members. The ship is 962 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 90,090. It was refurbished in 2016 including a total redesign of the spa.
Serenade Of The Seas – 2003
This ship was refurbished in 2012, less than 10 years after it was built. It has a maximum capacity of 2143 guests and 832 crew members. The ship is 965 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 90,090.
Vision Class
The ships in the Vision Class are the smallest in the Royal Caribbean fleet. Each ship has 1145 guest rooms. The Vision Class are also the oldest ships in the fleet and were built between 1996 and 1998.
Enchantment Of The Seas – 1997
This ship has a maximum capacity of 2252 guests and 852 crew members. The ship is 989 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 82,910. It was last refurbished in 2012.
Rhapsody Of The Seas – 1997
This may be an older ship but it had a recent refurbishment in 2022. It has a maximum capacity of 1998 guests and 765 crew members. The ship is 915 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 78,491.
Vision Of The Seas – 1998
This ship was last refurbished in 2013. It has a maximum capacity of 2050 guests and 742 crew members. The ship is 916 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 78,340.
Grandeur Of The Seas – 1996
This is the oldest ship in service in the Royal Caribbean fleet but it was refurbished in 2012. This ship has a maximum capacity of 1992 guests and 760 crew members. The ship is 916 feet long and has a gross tonnage of 73,817.

2020’s
So far in the 2020’s there have been 2 new ships built and a few refurbishments. More ships are scheduled to be built over the next few years.

- 2021 – Odyssey Of The Seas is built. Harmony Of The Seas and Ovation Of The Seas are refurbished
- 2022 – Wonder Of The Seas is built. Rhapsody Of The Seas is refurbished

- 2024 – Utopia Of The Seas due to be built
- 2025 – Two Icon Class ships due to be built
