Are you heading on a Virgin Voyages cruise and want to know what the restaurant menus look like?
Maybe you are considering a cruise and want to know what the food is like? Or are you curious and want to know more? Whatever the reason is that brought you here, we have the answer for you!
Finding out what food is served on Virgin Voyages cruise can be tricky, especially if you have never been on one before. You head online to see if menus are available, but can’t find any directly on their site.
So you keep searching but are constantly met with outdated or conflicting information. How are you going to find out what food is served at the Voyages now?
Well, you can come to us for the answers you need! Today we are here with all the menus on offer in the restaurants and everything you need to know about dining on the Virgin Voyages cruise ships.
Let’s not waste any more time and dive into our article today!
How Does Dining Work On Virgin Voyages?
Dining works a little differently on Voyages compared to other cruise ships.
There are no traditional dining rooms that we usually see on cruise ships where you are placed at large tables with strangers, forced to make small talk, or spend the week sitting next to someone you have nothing in common with. We can think of nothing worse!
Not only are there no shared tables, but no buffets. Cruises are known for large buffets where you can load up your plate time and time again without any guilt.
So what is there? Well, there are over 20 eateries that you can choose from! Included in your cruise fare is a variety of upscale and casual restaurants that you can choose from.
There are a few items that you need to pay extra for, but this is clearly labeled on all the menus so there are no hidden surprises.
Breakfast and lunch you can simply show up for, but you do need to make reservations for some of the eateries for dinner.
Thankfully you can book one reservation per restaurant in advance before you head onto the cruise. You can do this through the cruise app, making it super easy for you to keep track of all your bookings.
There are plenty of choices for vegetarians and other dietary needs like gluten-free. We do recommend that you always speak to the restaurant about these dietary needs before heading down to eat so that they can make the necessary adjustments for you.
Virgin Voyages Restaurant Menus
Now that we have established how dining works on the cruise, let’s take a look at the menus on offer! We have sourced as many as possible for you to see what food is on offer and plan your cruise before you step onto the ship. Let’s take a look at your options now.
The Galley (Casual Eatery)
The Galley is a food hall on the cruise ship where you can choose from a range of food from a variety of food stalls.
It’s their alternative to a cruise buffet, providing you with plenty of options, without the need to stand in long queues. There are eight food stalls you can choose from, including:
- The Daily Mix
- Diner & Dash
- Burger Bar
- Bento Baby
- Let’s Taco bout It
- Hot Off The Press
- Noodle Around
- Bread, Dessert & Pastry – The Sweet Side
