This former recording studio was built in 1956, and it is located in Nashville.
This single recording studio is often dubbed as the birthplace of “Nashville sound”, and it is the place where songs such as Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”, and Elvis Presley’s “Are You Lonesome Tonight?” were first recorded.
The studio itself is no longer used as an active recording studio, but you can go on a tour of this historic venue.
Often the cost of visiting this museum of country music history is included in the cost of visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame, so be sure to check before you book an additional ticket for this tour.
